– Ingredients –
1 stick of butter (softened)
1 cup of sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tbl spn of vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup of flour
1/2 tsp of baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup of chocolate chips
– Instructions –
Beat the butter and sugar together for at least 3 minutes until it turns a pale color. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat until combined. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Once everything is incorporated, mix in the chocolate chips (use at least one cup, more if you’d like). Form the cookies and bake at 350 degrees for 10 mins or until Golden brown. These are not chewy cookies because there is no brown sugar. These are sturdy cookies best if used for cookie ice cream sandwiches. Enjoy!
