Peach cobbler

Peach filling

  • 1 1/2 jars of peaches in heavy syrup
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 5 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract – feel free to be generous
  • Pinch of salt

Topping 

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup melted unsalted butter

Cook on 400 for 15 minutes then turn temp down to 375 and cook for an hour or until the top is golden brown.
